A pawn loan is a collateral loan. There is no credit check or reporting involved. The amount we lend is determined by the value of the collateral you pledge, as well as by the relationship you have with us. We have many business owners who use us several times a year. Once the relationship has been established, they can simply bring in the collateral, sign the loan forms, and leave with cash in hand in 15 minutes or less.
How does a pawn loan work? It is quite simple, safe and secure. You bring in collateral for us to evaluate. Jewelry is the most common form of collateral, but we also take equipment, electronics, musical instruments, and collectibles. (We take possession of the collateral until the loan is repaid, so the items cannot be too large for us to store). We evaluate the items right in front of you and discuss your needs. If we come to an agreement, your items and identification will be logged into our system in detail. Once this is complete, you will have your money in minutes. We pay in cash or by company check. An example of small business loan terms is below:
- Loan amount: $50,000.00
- Term: 60 Days
- Rate: 3% per month
If you are unable to repay the loan in 60 days, you can pay the 3% interest monthly to extend the loan. This can be done for as long as you need the loan. You can also pay down on the principal if you are current on the interest.
We are fully bonded and insured. By Illinois law your items will be insured for twice the loan amount.
