Update 5/2/2020: We will be open our regular store hours starting Monday, May 4, 2020. In order to keep everyone safe & healthy, we will be limiting the number of people in the store and practicing social distancing. We are ready to buy, sell and lend money on anything of value!

Update 3/26/2020. We will be limiting our hours. Starting 3/36/2020 we will be open Monday to Saturday 10 am to 4 pm. Please be aware that we are able to process payments over the phone or via text with the use of an online app. These options are very secure and will keep us all healthy and safe. If you need to come to the store, please be patient as we are limiting the number of people in the store, practicing social distancing and cleaning constantly. If you need a loan and can’t come in during these hours, please call us and we will try and make different arrangements. 

Sterling & Knight Jewelry & Pawn will be open during the shutdown, in accordance with guidelines issued by the State of Illinois. Pawnshops are an important part of the financial system in the United States, as over 20% of the population does not have any banking relationship or adequate access to capital.

During this crisis, Sterling & Knight Jewelry & Pawn is offering 30 Day Interest Free Pawn Loans to individuals and businesses that are adversely affected by the shutdown. Please call ahead on loans of $2,500 or more. This offer is good until March 31, 2020. Some restrictions do apply, see store for details.*

To keep our employees healthy and safe, we will be limiting the number of customers allowed in the stores to 5. We may ask you to wait outside until we can serve you properly and safely. We will be wearing gloves and constantly cleaning and sanitizing, so please do not be offended and have patience. If you are sick, please stay home.
